London, SE3
My name is Adam, and I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist providing online CBT sessions.
I have provided CBT interventions for depression and anxiety disorders for over 10 years. I have worked for several NHS therapy services in a variety of settings, including community and prison environments. I previously worked for University College London as a course tutor for the low intensity CBT course.
I have completed further training in supervision and have experience of supervising trainee and qualified therapists and enjoy helping therapists to develop their therapeutic skills.
I currently work part time for the NHS as a Specialist CBT Therapist in a military veterans’ service and specialise in the treatment of PTSD and complex-PTSD.
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist that works in a collaborative manner. I always place the individual at the heart of treatment to ensure that therapy is person-centred and meaningful. I use a CBT approach but also incorporate Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into treatment where appropriate.
I follow the BABCP code of conduct, have full professional indemnity insurance and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
