Concorde House Clinic, 26a Stour Street, Canterbury, CT1 2NZ
My name is Dan and I am a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist, a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and the Director of CBT Programmes at Canterbury Christ Church University. My regular weekly clinics are held in Canterbury, Kent CT1. I also provide CBT online via Skype and video link.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I work with couples and relationship conflict, drawing on Cognitive and Behavioural approaches to manage and resolve relationship problems.
For over 10 years, I have specialised in the CBT treatment of adults with the most common psychological problems. These include depression and the anxiety disorders, particularly PTSD, OCD, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder.
I have experience of working with the full range of client complexity, within private practice and Secondary Services. Throughout this time I have also been responsible for the training of both clinical psychologists and therapists in CBT skills, within several university programmes at Leeds University and at Canterbury.
I have several years experience of providing clinical supervision for qualified practitioners and trainees. Along with my wealth of experience in clinical practice, I am a very committed and enthusiastic psychologist, offering a down-to-earth, accessible approach, focussed on the client’s goals and needs.
I abide by the ethical standards of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy and I have a current DBS certificate.
