Suite 8 Cheldgate House, 45 High Street, Rochester, Kent, ME1 3FD
My name is Sarah and I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist - I hold regular weekly clinics in Rochester, Kent ME1 and I also provide online CBT via Skype and video link.
I have an Integrative Counselling background, meaning that I am able to adapt my approach to individual client needs and personalities and I use evidence based psychological therapies and support.
I have worked in the NHS and in private settings, with all age groups experiencing mental health issues, from mild difficulties to more severe and complex. I specialise in supporting adults experiencing a wide range of issues, such as depression and anxiety disorders (including but not limited to:
OCD, PTSD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Health Anxiety, Panic Disorder & Specific Phobia); I also work with Self-Esteem issues. I work with children and adolescents of 12-18 years of age with issues such as Depression; Specific Phobia, Social Phobia and Panic Disorder.
I currently provide Supervision for the NHS and have worked with people who have autism, learning difficulties and long-term health conditions.
As a down to earth and open-minded person, I have the ability to connect with all types of people and develop
a good therapeutic relationship. Many people from various backgrounds have described me as being different to the stereotypical therapist they were expecting to see and felt we could relate on the same level.
I am able to provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment, whilst listening and providing support, as well as being proactive by using researched tools and techniques to help someone make changes in their life.
I attend regular Supervision and Continued Professional Development (CPD) events and follow the BABCP’s
standards of conduct, ethics, values and performance.
